A clear boundary between insight and authority.

These terms govern access to débutFin. They are written to preserve user control, honest capability labels, and the distinction between planning and regulated professional services.

Eligibility and account responsibility

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding agreement. Provide accurate account information, protect your credentials, and notify us if you believe your account has been compromised. You are responsible for activity performed through an authorized session until access is revoked.

What the service does—and does not do

débutFin organizes user-provided and connected financial information, performs disclosed calculations, models scenarios, and may prepare proposals for actions. Unless a control explicitly identifies a verified licensed partner and you give the required approval, débutFin does not execute transfers, trades, filings, credit repair, legal documents, insurance changes, or other regulated transactions. Demo and Sandbox connections are labeled and do not represent real-bank availability.

No professional relationship or guarantee

Information in the service is educational and organizational. It is not individualized investment, tax, legal, insurance, credit, or accounting advice, and using the service does not create a fiduciary, attorney-client, tax-practitioner, or other professional relationship. Markets, laws, provider data, and personal circumstances change. Review sources and assumptions and consult a qualified professional when a decision requires one.

Your content and permissions

You retain ownership of content you provide. You grant débutFin the limited permission needed to host, process, transform, and transmit that content solely to operate requested features, protect the service, meet legal obligations, and support export or deletion. You represent that you have the right to upload each file or image. We do not obtain a right to sell or publicly redistribute private uploads.

Acceptable use

Do not probe or bypass access controls, use another person's information without authority, upload malware or unlawful material, automate abusive traffic, misrepresent a Demo connection as production connectivity, or use the service to facilitate fraud or unlawful financial activity. Reasonable security research should be reported through the security contact before public disclosure.

Third-party services

Features may depend on providers such as Supabase, Cloudflare, Resend, and Plaid. A provider's separate interface, eligibility, availability, terms, and privacy notice may apply. We do not promise a connector, institution, model, or partner will remain available, and the interface must disclose when approval or verification is still missing.

Availability, changes, and responsibility

We work to keep the service accurate and available, but no online service is uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided without warranties not expressly stated here, and liability is limited to losses that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Nothing in these terms waives a non-waivable consumer right.

Suspension, deletion, and contact

We may restrict access necessary to protect users, providers, or the service, or to comply with law. You may export supported data and schedule account deletion from Settings. Material term changes will be dated and, when appropriate, require renewed acceptance. Questions may be sent to contact@debutfin.com.
